Message another member did... but it's not my place.

1. that foam seal stuff doesn't have any structural properties. it is a nonstructural foam. infact, it's benefits are minimal at best.
2. rigidity comes from mass. the more mass (weight), the greater the rigidity. (one of the many reasons foam seal isn't ideal).
3. this member got copies of scientific white papers from companys like mazda, nissan, and volvo which all did extensive real(!) research and development of structural foam usage. Most applications resulted in significant weight increases but rewarded the end user with extreme crash safety/regidity.

Since I respect other peoples efforts, it's up to that person to decide whether he will post his research or not.
If he sees this thread, he while either speak up or sit on his hands and smile.

And why aren't you in school? Classes started this week for most universitys.
